Good morning my beautiful beastlings! Today is Day 1 of the 30 Day Fitness Challenge 2015! Yee haw!!! If you haven’t decided on a challenge quite yet, no biggie. Simply go to my post from Saturday and choose one of seven different 30 day challenges ranging from upper body to yoga to total body transformation!
Here are a few helpful hints to remember as we embark on our month long journey…
GET IT OUT OF THE WAY FIRST THING IN THE MORNING (IF YOU CAN)
That way, you won’t have it looming over your head during your work day and, on top of that, you already accomplish something right out of the gate. Plus, you are one step closer to crushing your 30 day fitness challenge. That should put some scooty in your booty.
FIND A WORKOUT BUDDY
Whether you find a friend to do the challenge with you or it’s ME, having an exercise buddy keeps you accountable and you’re more likely to follow through with your workout than if you were to go solo.
A few of you let me know which fitness challenge you’d be doing already, and I’d love it if even more would do so. Either send me a message or leave a comment!
IDENTIFY WHY YOU ARE DOING THE 30 DAY FITNESS CHALLENGE
Is your goal to lose weight? Do you want to become more flexible? Are you eager to flaunt those gorgeous guns after the month is up? Whatever the reason is, get that humdinger down on paper. Write it on a post-it note and stick it on the bathroom mirror, on the dashboard of your car or some place where you can see it daily.
TELL YOUR PEEPS ABOUT IT
Sharing the fitness challenge with your friends and family will give you a support system. Your clan will cheer you on throughout the month, they’ll check in to see how things are going and they will be encouraging when you are having a rough day.
DON’T BEAT YOURSELF UP
Issues are bound to come up. Children get sick, YOU get sick or it’s just a craptastic day all around. If you miss a day, it is not the end of the world. Simply pick up where you left off the next day. Boom! You’re good to go.
Alright! I think that about does it. Now get out there and kick day one’s butt!
